Gmail? Really?

I of course understand people talking about Notes vs. Outlook, and that some people might even like Outlook. But Gmail? I use Gmail everyday for one of my personal accounts... there is no way I could use it for my real, rich, business valued emails. It's very basic, text email. How about things like tables for one?
